Lynn
Foley began her career after graduating from the
University of Michigan. She worked as a registered
nurse for three years while attending Wayne State
University to obtain her law degree. She graduated
from law school in 1983.
Upon graduation,
Lynn began practicing law exclusively in the area
of medical malpractice. She worked at two large
firms for ten years before joining her partner,
Terry Cochran, with whom she attended law school.
She has been in practice with Terry for the past
six years. Together they have offices in the Livonia
and Flint areas.
Lynn continues to practice
exclusively in the area of medical malpractice.
By combining her trial skills along with her nursing
background, Lynn can truly be of service to her
Clients by providing them with an elevated level
of quality of medical-legal expertise. Her practice
is unique, in that, she tries to handle a limited
amount of cases at one time so she can give each
Client personal service.
Lynn handles all
aspects of medical malpractice, but she has particular
interest in cases involving women and children's
health issues such as failure to diagnose breast
cancer and birth trauma cases. Lynn recently recovered
$1.2 Million ($1,200,000) Dollars on behalf of a
baby born with Spinal Bifida and Nine Hundred Thousand
($900,000) Dollars on behalf of a baby born with
Down Syndrome. She has handled a wide variety of
malpractice cases, including orthopedic malpractice,
nursing home malpractice, failure to diagnose lung,
bone, brain and colon cancer.
Lynn has been
a member of the Executive Board of the Michigan
Trial Lawyers Association for the past five years
and a board member of the Negligent Section of the
State Bar of Michigan for the past year.
On the personal side, Lynn is married to a Tax
Attorney and has three children. When not practicing
law, she enjoys gardening and spending time with
her family.
