Jill Dennison is Cochran, Foley & Associates’ newest associate attorney. She graduated with honors from Ave Mari School of Law in May 2007 and was admitted to the Michigan State Bar in November 2007. While at Ave Maria School of Law, Jill was a member of Ave Maria’s Moot Court Board, co-chairing the special projects division and managing competitive trial teams.

Jill has over twelve years of legal experience, beginning as a legal secretary in 1995. In 1998, Jill graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Assisting. She was named Eastern Michigan’s Outstanding Undergraduate Legal Assistant Student of the Year for 1997–1998. Upon completion of her legal assisting degree, Jill was promoted to position of a paralegal. She has assisted Terry Cochran with his personal injury docket for almost ten years. In 2003, Jill again graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Masters of Public Administration. Jill was a member of the Political Science Honor Society and a Presenter at the Sixth Annual Graduate Research Fair in March 2004. Upon completion of her first year of law school, Jill returned to Cochran Foley & Associates to clerk for Terry Cochran.

Jill focuses her practice on automobile negligence and Michigan no-fault law. She is committed to assisting innocent victims of automobile negligence in getting the compensation they need to go forward with their lives and to ensuring that all persons who are injured in automobile accidents receive the no-fault insurance benefits to which they are entitled, regardless of fault.

When she is not practicing law, Jill enjoys traveling and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She is an avid supporter of Camp Odayin, a camp for children with congenital heart disease where she volunteers her time to be staff member each summer in Grasslake, Minnesota.
