Associate Attorney
Charles
Ash joined Cochran and Foley in the spring of 2010.
He is the most recent addition to the Cochran-Foley
team who brings his own young and aggressive style
to this already well established firm. His practice
focuses exclusively on personal injury litigation.
In 2005, Charles received his Bachelors in Business
Administration from Eastern Michigan University.
In 2009, he received his Juris Doctor from Thomas
M. Cooley Law School. While in law school, he participated
in moot court, mock trial, and was a member of the
school’s alternative dispute resolution board. As
to scholastic achievements, he was named to the
Dean’s List and was a Certificate of Merit award
winner.
Today, as member of the Michigan Association
of Justice (MAJ) he represents individuals that
have needlessly been victims of preventable injuries.
His ability to communicate with clients and his
recognition that in this line of work, his role
as attorney will often times include being a friend
and trusted confident, sets him apart from other
civil litigation attorneys. His thorough preparation
and devotion to getting positive results has earned
him the respect of his peers and fellow litigators.
Outside of his law practice Charles has also
been active in the community. In 2008, he was named
“Hero of the Red-Cross” by the Lansing State Journal
for his efforts in fundraising for the American
Red Cross. Recreationally, he enjoys coaching, playing,
and being an avid fan of soccer.
